A Night of Giving Recap

A Night of Giving was a magical night. Thank you to everyone who came out to spread generosity, raise awareness about charity, and participate in the holiday festivities. We had amazing entertainment for the event which was provided by, The Pacific Empire Chorus Group, Peas and Carrots Photography, DJ Drew, and Circle of Friends Photo Booth Services. There were close to twenty-five nonprofits that participated. We would like to extend our gratitude to all of the awesome charities that were both gracious and energetic. They did an amazing job creating and showcasing storyboards that helped the community connect with their charitable missions.

We had food galore, a wonderful raffle and an outstanding silent auction. Once again, the generous merchants in our community came through with kind donations that made our event spectacular! Cheers to the Kiernan family that won the “Community Giving Tree” valued at over $2,600.

We are so humbled by Bonnie Koagedal. She was chosen to be “The Giver” for the night. She beautifully expressed her dedication to seniors and “Families that have fallen through the cracks” and awarded the money to Petaluma People Services Center and Lady Bug Connections. Each charity received $5,570.00 ~ What a wonderful gift! Most nonprofits operate on love and a shoestring budget……The Fabulous Women are very happy for these two wonderful organizations that support families and seniors in need. Thank you for embracing our charitable idea.

“A Night of Giving.” really captured the holiday spirit and the generosity of our community. It was an exciting moment to reveal the “Giver” and find out the chosen charities, but I hope that you’ll all agree that we accomplished so much more by coming together for one festive gathering. We are paving the way for more collaboration and strengthening our community ties!

Finally, thank you to our major sponsors for the evening, The Elks Lodge, Bergin Glass, Petaluma Valley Athletic Club, The Law Office of Sandra Acevedo, Basin Street Properties, and North Bay Smiles. Your generosity helped us pull off a memorable evening with community blessings ~

Let’s carry that love over into the New Year ~
May we all experience the reward of charity and continue finding ways to
“Give Something Back!”
