The Fabulous Women Take on Giant Steps with Giant Love!

The Fabulous Women are excited about our next event. It will be an awesome gathering at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club where we will raise love and awareness about the Giant Steps organization.
It is our pleasure to wrap our hearts around such an incredible program that does so much good for people who are dealing with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges. This program helps people of all different ages improve their self esteem and increase their independence.

Meet Lily Biagini. She is a client of Giant Steps. As you can imagine, her early amputation surgery changed her life in many ways. Her participation in Giants Steps has helped her feel successful. She loves the freedom of riding and the program has improved her confidence. Lily helped our organization announce our fundraiser for Giant Steps at the Festival of Trees. She has tremendous love and gratitude for Giants Steps. She was able to express her passion for the horse program through a drawing and letter that she wrote to our group . Lily and other clients of Giant Steps are not only special but very courageous. It is our honor to raise money for a scholarship program that supports such brave individuals who are carrying out their beautiful purpose.

Lily is just one of the many clients of Giant Steps that has a heart-moving story. Clients who have autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, anxiety and depression, ADD/ ADHD, developmental delays, stroke /TBI, and other physical challenges report amazing benefits from horse therapy. Learning to steer and control a horse allows clients to feel joyful and successful. It also helps them improve their coordination, balance, motor skills, communication and social skills, and critical thinking skills.

Let’s celebrate the good work of Giant Steps. We hope you and your family will join us for this powerful day. It will be a fun and connecting experience for all. The unique part about this program is that it matches hearts, horses, and people together.

Special Thanks: We would like to thank Rob and Martha Domont and Robin Freitas for once again opening the doors of the club to the Fabulous Women. For years they have brought the local residents together for love, fun and charity. This event is no different. Petaluma Valley Athletic Club remains anchored to good causes that help our community thrive. We are extremely grateful for all the love that the club has extended to our organization in the past, and for as long as the doors are open, we remain partnered in love.
