A Night of Giving

Fall in love with charity this holiday season! Mark your calendars for December 13th. This year the Fabulous Women are introducing an event that captures the “Spirit of Holiday Giving.” Over the past three years we have gained a wonderful audience that has enjoyed The Festival of Trees. It has been a successful tradition that has drawn families throughout Sonoma County, and we have raised close to $50,000 for local charities. The beautiful tree auction will be back next year. This holiday season we are trying a new and exciting format. We will be having a festive gathering that will include food, music and a charitable surprise that should not be missed. You will...

The Colors of Courage Recap

The Colors of Courage was a beautiful collaboration of families, local businesses, students, Petaluma Police Department, leadership groups and the Fabulous Women. Delaney Frye, Ellie O’ Neill, and Victor Matthias really captured the hearts of Petaluma by sharing their experience with childhood cancer. The proceeds from the event helped support the Frye Family with their medical expenses. We were also able to write a significant check to the UCSF oncology department. Members of the community showed up with over a thousand toys for UCSF. Those gifts will bring some comfort to children receiving cancer treatment. The speeches during the day were wonderful and inspiring. Thank you to Martha Domont, James Forni, Father Gary, John...

Douglas Recap

Great night at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club ~ We always appreciate the kindness of Martha, Rob, and Robin for opening the door and letting the community in. Thank you to Wendy Thomas, local fire woman, Sue, and Debbie Bender for your excellent heart presentations and CPR training. It was great life saving information for every one to take away from the night. The turn out was lovely and all of the exchanges were heartfelt. I appreciated the extra words from Eric Smith and John Banister about Wayne’s personality and charm. A lot of Laura and Wayne’s family came and it made the night a bit easier for Laura to just enjoy the night. Thank you...

Because I am a Girl Recap!

How do you define a good time? Is it when your belly hurts from laughing and sharing stories or your heart feels joyful because you got to connect with people? Is it the hugs on the way in or the hugs on the way out? Is it the circle of trust that you find with old friends and even new friends? Is it the safety you feel when you’re surrounded by a group of people that clearly have your back, or is it the heartfelt exchanges that happen in a small circle? Is it the feeling that you get when someone tells their story and you find the courage to share yours? Is it...
